About

Three Friends

An Initial Organizing Committee (IOC) was formed in March, 2018; for the purpose of developing a case statement to address the identified need of rising homelessness in Moore County, NC amongst females ages 18-24. Three prominent Moore County participating organizations are actively involved in child and family services and supports, many of which will be utilized by our clients. The Village Chapel of Pinehurst, Community Presbyterian Church of Pinehurst, and Pinehurst United Methodist Church are the leading supporters and sponsors of this new initiative.

The goal of this program is to help prevent a lifetime of dependence on the state with a cost-effective, short-term investment in independent living which challenges participants to grow emotionally, spiritually, socially and financially in ways they often have not considered. Our overarching service strategy is to provide educational support and therapeutic services in a home setting while providing an environment that fosters social skills and Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) in order to be successful.

We believe all youth can embrace who they are,
