Tambra Chamberlain

After completing an Associates Degree in Human Services at Springfield Technical Community College and studies at American International College in Springfield MA, Tambra moved to North Carolina to study Psychology at North Carolina State University. She graduated with a B.A in Social Work and a minor in Psychology. Tambra has an extensive career in Human Services that spans over 30 years.

Christine Ganis, PsyD
Vice-Chair
Private PA psychological l practice (1985 – 2010). Individuals, couples, families, eating disorders, women’s issues, and health psychology. Founded/ran a network of free groups for Anorexia Nervosa and Associated Disorders (ANAD). Founded a supervision psychotherapy group (Institute for Psychotherapy). Earned PsyD in 2003 in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Relocated to Southern Pines in 2010. Rural medical outreach (St. Joseph’s of the Pines Semi tractor trailer); joined the editorial staff of NC Psychological Association. Advocates for military families through Fayetteville Community Blueprint. Serves on multiple community boards ( League’s Healthcare Action Team lead (HCLAT); leadership roles in AAUW (local President) and the League of Women Voters (Chair Healthcare for Moore/Cumberland). Taught CBT for Insomnia with cancer survivors at FirstHealth. Teaches Mental Health First Aid at SCC.
