Thank you for your support of TambraPlace and for spreading the word about the work we do here to provide safe and supportive transitional housing for young women and young men in need in Moore County.
Want to adopt a TambraPlace resident for Christmas?
1. Just email us and let us know who you are adopting and what you’re getting (to avoid duplications.) Email: ywthmoore@gmail.com
2. Then wrap the gift(s,) add a tag with the resident’s initials (listed below) and bring the gifts to Community Presbyterian Church from now until 12/20 – drop off Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday, between 10:00am-12:00pm or 1:00-2:00pm.
OR, if your organization or business would like us to pick up and take a donation photo for our social media, just let us know, and we can coordinate the pickup and photo op with you!

What is TambraPlace?
Objectives:
The TambraPlace Young Women's and Young Men’s Transitional Homes of Moore County, NC, is a residential program that supports and meets the needs of Young Women and Young Men, ages 18-24. We provide a safe, nurturing and empowering environment to serve youth who are:
· At-Risk For Failing Without Intervention
· Facing Homelessness
· Transitioning From Child Welfare Services
· Potential Abuse Victims
Goals:
The goal of the TambraPlace program is to help prevent a lifetime of dependence on the state with a cost-effective, short-term investment in independent living which challenges participants to grow emotionally, spiritually, socially and financially in ways they often have not considered. Our overarching service strategy is to provide educational support and therapeutic services in a home setting while providing an environment that fosters social skills and Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) in order to be successful.
TambraPlace serves young women and young men with currently two homes and a third on the way, working to cure the recidivism of homelessness by helping youth who have aged out of foster care.
Donate to the TambraPlace Foundations Direct Payment Assistance Fund: This fund is crucial in providing immediate financial support to those in urgent need within our community.

Share Our Mission: Help us spread the word about the importance of this fund. The more people who know about our cause, the more support we can gather.
Serve on our Board: We need new folks willing to help take on the responsibility of directing and serving TambraPlace. Specifically, we could use help in the areas of fundraising, public relations and social media promotions, law, policy, fundraising, and building planning. We are building a new girls’ home in 2026.
